EXTENDED TERMS & CONDITIONS OF A CYNTECH TRADING LIMITED 6 YEAR PROJECTOR GUARANTEE OR A CYNTECH TRADING LIMITED 6th YEAR GUARANTEE EXTENSION

What is and isn’t covered under a projector extended guarantee?

Covered

1. If the unit cannot be repaired, we will offer credit vouchers taking into account age, condition and use as per the below scale (*titled ‘Usage scale’). This voucher to be used online, no cash equivalent can be offered.
2. Projector bulbs and/or laser optics are not covered.
3. This only applies to consumers in a domestic set-up, all business, organisations and alike are excluded. 

Agreement:

Cyntech Trading Limited agrees, subject to the following conditions and exceptions, to extend the guarantee for the product and shall not exceed, the current value of the item reflecting age, condition, specification and use/wear and tear.

Current value will be calculated taking into consideration the age, usage, condition and packaging of the product. If the item is in perfect condition with all packaging as new, having had reasonable use we suggest the value as follows:

*Usage scale:

During year 1 – full value 
During year 2 – Original retail less 20% 
During year 3 – Original retail less 30% 
During year 4 – Original retail less 40% 
During year 5 – Original retail less 50% 
During year 6 – Original retail less 60%

Exceptions

This agreement does not cover:

1. Failures arising from or due to:
   1. Use of wrong accessories which have caused damage.
   2. Abnormal power supply or surges
   3. Negligent or wilful abuse or misuse of the product covered.
   4. Fire, flood, lightning, theft, explosion, or other causes external to the product covered.
   5. Dents or cases
   6. Accidental damage.
   7. Damage by animals or insects
   8. Failure to follow manufacturers servicing, like filters etc
   9. Outside items linked to the projector
2. Repairs carried out by anyone other than Cyntech Trading Limited or its authorised repairers.
3. Loss of use of the product covered or consequential loss of any nature.
4. No install or de-install costs, carriage or other transport costs.
5. Loss or damage occasioned by happening through or in consequence of war or anything such things like that.

Conditions

1. All benefits under the agreement will cease if:
   1. If Cyntech Trading Limited have any reasonable grounds to believe that your claim is in any way dishonest or exaggerated, this will invalidate your claim.
   2. The product covered is at any time used for the purposes other than exclusively private and domestic and installed on domestic premises
   3. A cash settlement in lieu of repairs is made, or a faulty unit is exchanged for a different model.
2. Settlement that is agreed in vouchers to be used on our site shall not exceed the current value of the screen or projector which is covered by the 6 Year Projector Guarantee.
   Current value will be calculated taking into consideration the usage, condition, age, and packaging of the product. If the item is in perfect condition with all packaging as new, having had reasonable use we suggest the value as per our voucher usage scale.
3. If the Company or its authorised repairer considers the product covered to be beyond economic repair, the Company may at its option replace the product or pay to the named person an agreed sum in lieu thereof, taking into consideration the usage and age of the product. The cost of replacing a part destroyed or damaged or no longer available shall not exceed the manufacturer’s last published price of the part.
