Huge Sale On. Normally £2495 ex vat - buy today for £2190 ex vat; limited stock available! These B Grade Sony units are over £4700 cheaper than a new unit. They all come in their original box and are direct from Sony themselves. They may not be in brand new condition but this is heavily reflected in the price and are an absolute bargain! Very Limited Stock Available.
The VPL-FHZ700L is a bright, HD quality projector designed to be installed in conference rooms, auditoriums and showrooms. The VPL-FHZ700L has a high resolution of WUXGA too which will display full HD content without any quality loss. Video and other media content will look fantastic and wow audiences - this projector could work well in a public place like a museum as well.
The flexibility of installation is impressive, as you can purchase optional lenses to allow the projector to go really close, or really far away to still create a sensible size image. To add to this, the vertical and horizontal lens shift makes it possible to mount in the most difficult places. With this range, it seems Sony have really thought about the design as well.
The shape blends in with a ceiling tile nicely, and the cables actually go into the front so when you see the projector from behind (as most people would) then it looks very sleek and tidy. With 7000 Lumens, the VPL-FHZ700L is extremely bright and can be used in bright areas to create a large image - imagine an auditorium with a 5m wide screen and the lights up for people working. Leave the lights on and curtains open. With multiple digital inputs in HDMI and DVI, along with the traditional VGA, this projector can connect to a variety of different devices old and new. The Laser light source gives you a great 20,000 maintenance free lamp hours. A superb installation projector packed with features that make it cost friendly and easy to install. Buying a conference room sized projector is a large investment so it is important to find the best projector to suit your specific requirements. Here is a quick guide to getting the best conference room projector.
Firstly you hare a large audience so depending on how they are seated really depends on the brightness of the projector you are going to need. For instance if there are 200 people in 5 rows of 40 or 200 people in 20 rows of 10, clearly under the second example the people at the back of 20 rows are going to find it harder to see the image if the screen is too small. So you have to decide on your image size. Here are some sensible image sizes for certain audiences
3m - up to 100 people 4m - up to 200 People 5m - up to 300 people
Now you know your image size then you have to consider how far back you need to place the projector. A general rule of thumb on a standard lens projector is working on the basis of twice the distance back of the image width, so for the examples above the conference room projector would be placed 6m/8m/10m. If you need to be either further back or closer then you would probably have to buy what is known as a body only projector and then choose the additional lens which would give you the right throw ratio. This is a more expensive option as the additional lenses tend to be anything from £600-£2000. So it does make sense to try and have a set up for your conference that gives you the most cost effective solution. We really do suggest that buying on-line without having purchased a high end projector before might be better to ring one of our sales experts who will be able to save you money.
Depending on what you are intending to display and the quality you require does mean that there are several choices of resolution. If you are showing a basic Powerpoint presentation or spreadsheets then the choice would be either XGA or the wider version of XGA known as WXGA. If you are showing video content or HD content then 1080p which are full HD is popular as the quality is very good but they do tend not to have high lumens basically limited to 4000L so it may well be that it makes sense to go to the next resolution WUXGA which have more lumens.
Brightness which is measured as lumens is more important for a conference room projector than a standard projector because they will need to be bright. Nothing less than 4000L will do but again this is a specialised requirement and you should ask for help.We have found that the "5 Series" of Infocus offer probably the best value and other good conference room projector brands are Panasonic & NEC as they both have a large range to choose from. If you want the WUXGA resolution then Canon are the best choice but they a bit pricey for most budgets. At the bottom of each page there is a more detailed guide about what to look for on a projector.
We provide advice on the phone listening to your requirements we are able to help you get the right one as we have trained staff . We have a network of installers to cover your area. On higher end models we can arrange a loan or demo. We think most people should buy HD resolution , they are so affordable now and you wouldn't buy a 5 year old laptop so why buy SVGA which is over 20 years old. Yes XGA & WXGA are ideal for simple presentations and education use but we have all been use to decent home TV's or high resolution phones or tables so why put a huge image on the wall/screen which is inferior. There are some great brands out there BenQ, Infocus, Epson and less known ones like EIKI or Vivitek. Yes you can buy the wrong one, this is why we still offer advice rather than just an add to cart website. We have a price promise, we see the models, we often put one against another and see which one is best. We only buy UK stock, which has higher warranty standards to ensure you get real value for money. We don't sell the cheap brands as the lumens isn't verified. Look at our name it tells you that we are committed to this product and we have a great reputation in the market place for price and customer service. We supply the UK but also in Ireland, we offer a 1-3 day service to Ireland.
