The ViewSonic PS501X has excellent performance at a great price which makes this projector especially suitable for classrooms and medium sized meeting rooms with a high resolution. This projector can either be installed or used as a portable unit as it is lightweight at only 2.6KGs. There is vertical keystone correction so if you place the projector off centre; this feature will still enable you to project in the middle of the screen. Just Projectors review on the PS501X: The PS501X boasts a 3600 lumens brightness which is great as you will not have to turn the lights off or close the curtains whilst you are using the projector, just turn it on in the environment you are in and away you go. This projector has XGA resolution which is suitable for presentations, images and short videos. If you are showing longer videos, then it is best to go for widescreen resolution which is WXGA. Most modern sources are widescreen so there will be no stretching of pixels in your videos. This projector has a 2W built in speaker. This is a short throw projector which is perfect for limited spaces. You will be able to project a 100cm wide image at only 61cm away from the screen.
This projector has a high contrast ratio which makes the darker areas darker and the whites whiter; making the images stand out. Connect using the HDMI to show your content in high definition. There are two VGA ports so you can connect to multiple sources at the same time without swapping cables around. The PS501X also has a long lamp life – 15,000 hours! The PS501X is a high brightness XGA short throw projector for education. With the ability to project 100” images from a distance of 124cm from any projection surface, the projector is flexible enough to fit any classroom design and keeps the presenter clear of the projection beam. For times when lights in the classroom must be kept on, a high brightness of 3,600 ANSI Lumens ensures that images remain clear and detailed. ViewSonic exclusive SuperColor™ technology offers a true-to-life color accuracy for projected images. The energy-saving SuperEco mode reduces power consumption and extends lamp life to a lengthy 15,000 hours. In addition, PS501X is compatible with the optional PJ-vTouch-10S interactive module, which allows you to use a stylus or finger touch to annotate on projected images – turning class into an engaging interactive teaching environment.
0.61 short throw projection gives you room to work with when positioning the projector. With the flexibility to be placed within inches of a screen, users will be able to project big images in any space, while also keeping presenters clear of the projection beam and avoid image shadows.
With the optional interactive package, (PJ-vTouch-10S), this projector becomes an interactive tool that transforms any surface into an interactive whiteboard. With the multi-touch capability, users can simultaneously annotate, write, or draw on the projected image to interact with the content and share ideas.
A built in USB power output (5V/1.5A) can be used to supply power to HDMI dongles, eliminating the need for separate power adapters for connected dongles.
ViewSonic’s proprietary SuperColor™ Technology offers a wider color range, ensuring users enjoy true-to-life color projection in both bright and dark environments.
The HDMI port allows users to display 3D imagery directly from 3D Blu-Ray players and connect to HDMI-enabled devices such as laptops, tablets, and media players.
When the Power Saving setting is turned on and no signal input is detected, the projector will automatically switch into Eco Mode and SuperEco Mode.
- Eco Mode: The projector will automatically switch from Normal to Eco Mode whenever it has been left idle for 5 minutes.
- SuperEco Mode: When the projector has not received an input signal for 20 minutes, projected images are dimmed to 30%, extending the lamp’s lifespan to 15,000 hours on average.
The Presenter Timer is an embedded on-screen timer and a great time management tool for helping presentations run on schedule.
The sleep timer allows the projector to automatically power down after no signal has been detected. An easy way to save energy and extend the projector’s lifespan.
When no signal has been detected, the projector will automatically power off to conserve energy and lamp life.

Delivery Rates to mainland UK - (excluding large and/or heavy items)
Delivery is to ground floor, if you have special delivery instructions you must contact us to ensure that we can have the best chance of success in delivering the item. We required items to be signed for.
Working Delivery dates are Monday to Friday unless Saturday delivery is selected.
- 7-10 Working Days delivery is free of charge
- 2-3 Working Days £8 + VAT
- Next Working Day £12 + VAT - if ordered before cut off
- Working Day Pre-Noon £35 + VAT - Be careful choosing this option, it has the highest incidence of failure with all couriers.
Delivery cut off is 4pm on most items - earlier time exceptions are large items, high value items, items requiring a pallet (i.e bulk orders). If you order after 4pm then the order is processed the next day, that means if you ordered Tuesday at 8pm at night, the next day delivery option is Thursday as the order is processed on the Wednesday.
Delivery Rates to non-mainland UK + Eire - (excluding large screens and Touch Screens)
Non Mainland and the Highlands and Islands- this includes the Isle of Wight, any thing that goes over water that does not have road access. These rates are determined by couriers based on postcode. If there are multiple items then we may need to quote you for delivery.

Returns
Faulty Items
Goods Reported Faulty Within 28 Days of Receipt.
If you have a faulty item and are reporting the fault within 28 days of receipt (please note that for business customers, this is 14 days). When the goods are returned to us complete, we’ll issue a full refund to you via your original payment method.We will try and ensure that there is a fault, that often requires is running diagnostics or getting the manufacturer to speak to you directly to determine whether there is a genuine fault rather than just a set up error.
Goods Damaged in Transit.
If your goods were damaged in transit it must be reported to us within 3 days. If goods are visibly damaged on receipt the delivery note must be marked accordingly. Once the damaged goods have been collected and received back into our warehouse, we’ll issue a refund via your original payment method. We will require pictures of the damage.
Consumers - If You Have Changed Your Mind – this is for personal use not business or organisations
If you are a private consumer and have changed your mind as long as the goods have not been in your possession for over 14 days, and the item can be sold again as new, then you are entitled to return the goods to us. If the item you are returning is a Projector, the lamp hours used must not have exceeded 3 hours otherwise a restocking fee will be applied. The cost of returning items is the responsibility of the customer. As new means in original packaging with complete accessory packs and manuals. If any item is marked/damaged, including the packing, there may be a restocking fee. Please contact us directly before sending any goods back to obtain an RMA number without this there may be a delay in dealing with your return. If you purchased for a company, or an organisation you are not deemed a Consumer by law.
