Just Projectors review on the LP-WU3500

The high contrast ratio will add to your enjoyment of viewing. This will bring out the blacks from the whites and give you added depth. There will be no need to change the lamp as it has a long light source of 20,000 hours! By that time you will probably be ready to buy a new machine! It has 360 degree installation which means you can install it in a vertical position. The LP-WU3500 features a dust resistant structure to the optical engine which prevents dust being able to interfere with interior parts, providing you with approximately 20,000 hours maintenance free operation and allows the projector to be used in a wide range of environments.

This machine is suitable for medical use as it has DICOM simulation mode which is great for viewing X-Rays. If you want to view two different images from two different sources next to each other, you can use the Picture By Picture mode. You can connect your sources by using the HDMI and the VGA inputs. There is no need to unplug one if you wish to view one at a time, simply use the remote control to switch between sources which saves a lot of time. The Picture In Picture mode enables you to display one image inside another image using two sources including 2 HDMI.

Overall, this is a great machine and at a great price too for the high resolution. Check out the PDF to the left for more information.

What Hitachi say about the LP-WU3500

Our innovative new LED Projector series is the result of all our technical knowledge and experience. The LP-WX3500 / WU3500 is the very fi rst LED projector to achieve new levels of brightness, by utilising the latest HLD (High Lumen Density) technology. This works by channeling blue LED light into a phosphor rod, where it is discharged as a bright green light. Working in tandem with high brightness red and blue LED lights, it achieves an impressive 3,500 lumens and a 50,000:1 contrast ratio.

High Image Quality

Along with our current high standards when it comes to image quality, we have an impressive 30,000:1 contrast ratio with no colour break. Featuring a brand new High Lumen Density (HLD) light source, this new technology can emit four times the light of current LED technology, making the screen up to three times brighter whilst still giving brilliant colour performance. We have also included colour management and a high performance lens with a powerful 1.7 zoom.

Digital Connectivity

Equipped with HDBaseT, two HDMI inputs and HDMI Out*, Hitachi’s LED projector series is highly versatile. HDBaseT allows the transmission of ultra-high definition digital media signals via a standard LAN cable (Cat5e/6) up to a distance of 100m. HDMI Out outputs the signal from HDMI 1 or HDBaseT and enables connected projectors to show content on multiple screens simultaneously, perfect for conferences or large venues. HDMI 1 also supports MHL connectivity; mirror the screen of your MHL enabled smartphone/tablet on a projected screen.

Advanced Installation

We have many advanced installation features on the LED projector series to help make your life easier. From Edge Blending and Warping to 360 degree with portrait installation. You can also schedule routine and special projector events, including power on, power off, input selection and other settings with our Easy scheduling. This includes being notified by e-mail if an error occurs, giving you ultimate control.

Long-Lasting Reliability

With no phosphor wheel, no colour wheel and no lamp, our LED projectors are more reliable and cost efficient. Our new models feature a hermetically sealed optical engine which prevents dust from being able to interfere with interior parts. The 24/7 operation mode also allows for the projector to have long running times, ideal for retail situations.

ABOUT JUST PROJECTORS

We provide advice on the phone listening to your requirements we are able to help you get the right one as we have trained staff . We have a network of installers to cover your area. On higher end models we can arrange a loan or demo. We think most people should buy HD resolution , they are so affordable now and you wouldn't buy a 5 year old laptop so why buy SVGA which is over 20 years old. Yes XGA & WXGA are ideal for simple presentations and education use but we have all been use to decent home TV's or high resolution phones or tables so why put a huge image on the wall/screen which is inferior. There are some great brands out there BenQ, Infocus, Epson and less known ones like EIKI or Vivitek. Yes you can buy the wrong one, this is why we still offer advice rather than just an add to cart website. We have a price promise, we see the models, we often put one against another and see which one is best. We only buy UK stock, which has higher warranty standards to ensure you get real value for money. We don't sell the cheap brands as the lumens isn't verified.  Look at our name it tells you that we are committed to this product and we have a great reputation in the market place for price and customer service.  We supply the UK but also in Ireland, we offer a 1-3 day service to Ireland.
