Just Projectors review of the Panasonic PT-RZ370: The PT-RZ370 is a full HD LED-Laser projector, giving a bright crisp image that is completely maintenance free. It is bright at 3500 lumens, so will show a clear image in rooms with lots of ambient light, and the 1080p Full HD resolution make this an ideal projector for the conference room or lecture theatre. Most LED projectors aren't very bright at all and are designed for mobile use, with the exception of the RZ370 and a few other Panasonic projectors, and it has a few really good installation features that make it a great choice. As it is an LED projector, the pt-rz370 will have very good colour reproduction and will appear sharper in detail than a traditional DLP or LCD so if you are looking for the best detail for showing videos, site plans or CAD drawings it will be impressive. The DIGITAL LINK function allows you to send video, audio and control signals through one single Cat5e (or higher) cable up to 100m - this will make installation much cleaner and easier rather than having several different cables running to the same projector. This needs to be used in conjunction with Panasonic's digital interface box which has multiple inputs including two HDMI, two VGA and Video, and can be controlled from the projectors remote control. This will make life so much easier and will mean you won't have to swap any cables around or have more than one remote control. One of the main attractions of the laser-LED technology is that there is no lamp which needs replacing, so this a maintenance free projector. The central lens position along with horizontal and vertical lens shift are two more reasons why this is a great installation projector, making the placement easy i.e. slightly off to one side or slightly above the image. HDMI, DVI, VGA and RJ45 inputs give you plenty of connections to choose from and will allow you to connect multiple sources at once without the digital interface box if that works better for your office layout. The RZ370 can be installed at any angle, meaning it lends itself well to being useful as a museum projector or to project onto the floor in sensory rooms or arts exhibitions for example. About Panasonic
Panasonic have one of the largest range of projectors of any of the projector manufacturers whether that is a entry level projector or a high end one to compete with on a price point with the Barco's and Christie s. When Panasonic took the decision to take over the Sanyo projector range it was a clear indication that they wanted some of the education business and were happy to produce not only high end projector models. Looking at the range for Panasonic projectors you can split them into three groups. In general if a Panasonic projector have a "X" they are XGA , "W" = WXGA , "Z can either be 1080p or WUXGA and "S" is SXGA+. The higher the number the brighter the projector. Panasonic have a large range of projectors with lens options so total flexibility when installing. Panasonic used to only really do LCD but DLP is well represented now throughout their range.
  1. Panasonic PT-RZ370 Review: Good solid performer

Decently bright with great image quality, even up-scales VGA signal to a good picture on a 3m screen! Could benefit from a 2nd HDMI socket for most users, but we run a HDMI switcher that saves on hassle & lots of long cables, so it's perfect for our needs.

We provide advice on the phone listening to your requirements we are able to help you get the right one as we have trained staff . We have a network of installers to cover your area. On higher end models we can arrange a loan or demo. We think most people should buy HD resolution , they are so affordable now and you wouldn't buy a 5 year old laptop so why buy SVGA which is over 20 years old. Yes XGA & WXGA are ideal for simple presentations and education use but we have all been use to decent home TV's or high resolution phones or tables so why put a huge image on the wall/screen which is inferior. There are some great brands out there BenQ, Infocus, Epson and less known ones like EIKI or Vivitek. Yes you can buy the wrong one, this is why we still offer advice rather than just an add to cart website. We have a price promise, we see the models, we often put one against another and see which one is best. We only buy UK stock, which has higher warranty standards to ensure you get real value for money. We don't sell the cheap brands as the lumens isn't verified.  Look at our name it tells you that we are committed to this product and we have a great reputation in the market place for price and customer service.  We supply the UK but also in Ireland, we offer a 1-3 day service to Ireland.
