Just Projectors review on the Panasonic PT-EW650EJ: The Panasonic PT-EW650EJ projector is a bright and widescreen installation projector suitable for large venues. With 5800 lumens of brightness this projector serves up brilliant punchy images even with the lights on and blinds open. You will be able to project clear and bright images to a large audience in a large venue, for example a church, theatre, auditorium, etc. The widescreen resolution will give you a sharp image and is suitable for PowerPoint presentations, images, videos and movies. You can use the 10W built in speaker for added audio. It features the DICOM Mode which is a medical imaging standard. It reproduces X-ray images with remarkable clarity. You can show your content in high definition by using the HDMI port. There are two ports so you can connect to two devices without swapping your cables around. Panasonic’s Daylight View Basic technology achieves sharp easy-to-see images by clearly reproducing the details in dark image areas which were previously difficult to see in brightly lit rooms. A built-in sensor measures the ambient light and the Daylight View Basic function adjusts the halftone colour and brightness level according to the surrounding illumination. Just take a moment to think if you need the full 5800 lumens, if you go down by 700 lumens, it may not make that much difference to your projection and you can save about £1000! Take a look at the other suitable alternatives below. This projector comes with the standard lens. Check out the PDF to the left for more information.

What Panasonic say about the PT-EW650EJ

High dynamic contrast of 10,000:1 is enabled by an iris mechanism, so that whites are brighter and blacks deeper with minimal loss of detail in dark images. The result is crisp and comfortable viewing. The wide adjustment range of the powered horizontal/vertical lens-shift function assures convenience and versatility during installation. Zoom and focus are also easily adjusted via remote control. A symmetrical lens-centered design reduces installation complexity and makes these projectors easier to adapt to a wider range of installation sites. The optional ET-WML100 wireless USB module enables projection of a variety of media via Windows® PCs, iOS devices, or Android™ devices loaded with an appropriate app. Whether projecting from desk or ceiling, there’s no need for cables—and it’s also possible to display content from more than one device at a time in Multi-Live Mode. If dust gets inside the projector’s optical unit, brightness suffers. The PT-EZ590 Series protects against dust intrusion with a one-way airflow design and improved sealing for the lens block, air intake duct, and Eco Filter. This electrostatic Micro Cut Filter captures the tiniest dust particles and requires no maintenance for 15,000 hours. It also can be washed and reused. These dust-resistant projectors are designed to maintain brightness for longer in high-traffic environments while reducing servicing costs. The quiet design reduces operating noise to just 29 dB, with the sound of the cooling fan hardly noticeable. This helps to keep the audience focused on your presentation. To reduce hassle, the filter can be replaced via the side and the lamp from the top of the projector. There’s no need to remove the unit from its ceiling mount for periodic maintenance.

About Panasonic
Panasonic have one of the largest range of projectors of any of the projector manufacturers whether that is a entry level projector or a high end one to compete with on a price point with the Barco's and Christie s. When Panasonic took the decision to take over the Sanyo projector range it was a clear indication that they wanted some of the education business and were happy to produce not only high end projector models. Looking at the range for Panasonic projectors you can split them into three groups. In general if a Panasonic projector have a "X" they are XGA , "W" = WXGA , "Z can either be 1080p or WUXGA and "S" is SXGA+. The higher the number the brighter the projector. Panasonic have a large range of projectors with lens options so total flexibility when installing. Panasonic used to only really do LCD but DLP is well represented now throughout their range.

ABOUT JUST PROJECTORS

We provide advice on the phone listening to your requirements we are able to help you get the right one as we have trained staff . We have a network of installers to cover your area. On higher end models we can arrange a loan or demo. We think most people should buy HD resolution , they are so affordable now and you wouldn't buy a 5 year old laptop so why buy SVGA which is over 20 years old. Yes XGA & WXGA are ideal for simple presentations and education use but we have all been use to decent home TV's or high resolution phones or tables so why put a huge image on the wall/screen which is inferior. There are some great brands out there BenQ, Infocus, Epson and less known ones like EIKI or Vivitek. Yes you can buy the wrong one, this is why we still offer advice rather than just an add to cart website. We have a price promise, we see the models, we often put one against another and see which one is best. We only buy UK stock, which has higher warranty standards to ensure you get real value for money. We don't sell the cheap brands as the lumens isn't verified.  Look at our name it tells you that we are committed to this product and we have a great reputation in the market place for price and customer service.  We supply the UK but also in Ireland, we offer a 1-3 day service to Ireland.
