Sapphire Mayfair projector screen with built in infra red remote control, if you need a flat surface then the 3 glass fibre surface is the answer. Gain for wide viewing and perception of contrast is 1:1. Easy to fix with channel fix brackets, slide to the spot you want to install. Three year swap out warranty - this will give you complete piece of mind. Make sure you consider this important aspect before buying an inferior product. Comes with a remote control built in the casing. Use the IR extender if you hide the screen. This screen comes with a 2.7m power lead from the back left of the screen (when viewed from the front) and terminates in a standard UK power plug. At Just Projectors, we have sold the front screen from Sapphire and the feedback on Sapphire Electric 240x180cm Projector Screen 4:3 118 inch SEWS240RAD-A has been excellent, we have seen all of these screens and know they offer excellent value for money.

The best use for this screen is Multi Venue/School/Conference Centre - Large Size Audience. The aspect ratio is 04:03 is not widescreen but is suitable for the older resolution projectors XGA (1024 x 768 ) or SVGA (800 x 600 ) - if you want to be multi format then don't pull the screen so far down . This screen is fixed screen, if you need a location that doesn't move. It's important when you choose a screen that it fits in the spot you have decided to put it in so the viewable area which is the bit you project onto is 240x182cms and therefore that will require some extra space as the canister is longer, why not check out the pdf on the left hand side of the page for more info. Often people find it best to think of the screen as a diagonal size and this screen is 118 inches. Delivery & Returns

Delivery Rates to mainland UK - (excluding large and/or heavy items)

Delivery is to ground floor, if you have special delivery instructions you must contact us to ensure that we can have the best chance of success in delivering the item. We required items to be signed for.

Working Delivery dates are Monday to Friday unless Saturday delivery is selected.

7-10 Working Days delivery is free of charge
2-3 Working Days £8 + VAT
Next Working Day £12 + VAT - if ordered before cut off
Working Day Pre-Noon £35 + VAT - Be careful choosing this option, it has the highest incidence of failure with all couriers.

Delivery cut off is 4pm on most items - earlier time exceptions are large items, high value items, items requiring a pallet (i.e bulk orders). If you order after 4pm then the order is processed the next day, that means if you ordered Tuesday at 8pm at night, the next day delivery option is Thursday as the order is processed on the Wednesday.

Delivery Rates to non-mainland UK + Eire - (excluding large screens and Touch Screens)

Non Mainland and the Highlands and Islands- this includes the Isle of Wight, any thing that goes over water that does not have road access. These rates are determined by couriers based on postcode. If there are multiple items then we may need to quote you for delivery.

Returns

Faulty Items

Goods Reported Faulty Within 28 Days of Receipt.

If you have a faulty item and are reporting the fault within 28 days of receipt (please note that for business customers, this is 14 days). When the goods are returned to us complete, we’ll issue a full refund to you via your original payment method.We will try and ensure that there is a fault, that often requires is running diagnostics or getting the manufacturer to speak to you directly to determine whether there is a genuine fault rather than just a set up error.

Goods Damaged in Transit.

If your goods were damaged in transit it must be reported to us within 3 days. If goods are visibly damaged on receipt the delivery note must be marked accordingly. Once the damaged goods have been collected and received back into our warehouse, we’ll issue a refund via your original payment method. We will require pictures of the damage.

Consumers - If You Have Changed Your Mind – this is for personal use not business or organisations

If you are a private consumer and have changed your mind as long as the goods have not been in your possession for over 14 days, and the item can be sold again as new, then you are entitled to return the goods to us. If the item you are returning is a Projector, the lamp hours used must not have exceeded 3 hours otherwise a restocking fee will be applied. The cost of returning items is the responsibility of the customer. As new means in original packaging with complete accessory packs and manuals. If any item is marked/damaged, including the packing, there may be a restocking fee. Please contact us directly before sending any goods back to obtain an RMA number without this there may be a delay in dealing with your return. If you purchased for a company, or an organisation you are not deemed a Consumer by law.

About Screens

Making sure you buy the right size screen for your space is very important. The most common mistake is making sure that you have accounted for the total size of the screen frame or casing, as opposed to just the image size of the screen which is what is normally the top measurement advertised. For example, a 100" screen has a viewable area of 220cm wide, but the screen casing for the screen could be around 240-250cm wide. It is always worth measuring carefully before purchasing your screen because it can be very costly to ship it back if it is not right, not many delivery companies like taking parcels as large as projector screens!

Another thing to be careful of is maing sure the type of screen you have suits the projector you have, or are about to purchase (we sell those too, by the way!). In particular with Ultra Short Throw projectors because they sit at such a tight angle to the screen they need a projection surface which is perfectly flat, only really achieved by Tab-Tensioned electric screens or fixed frame screens. Projectors which are not short throw can get away with a surface which isn't exactly flat, but it will always look better the flatter the surface is. Please also note that ALR (Ambient Light Rejection) screens only work with Ultra Short Throw Projectors - ALR screens are not designed to work with longer throw projectors, but you can get screens which still enhance the brightness and the contrast, give us a call if you are unsure.
