Robust steel housing. Channel mounting system enabling a fast and easy install.Requires electrical installation. Motor situated on the right hand side. 2 year warranty. Case size 8.5 x 8.5cm Recess frame available for mounting screens into suspended ceilings. So you have decided you want a front electric projector screen to go with your projector then the Rollfix Electric 180x137cm Heavy Duty Projector Screen 4:3 89 inch RFV180 is a popular choice. We have tested the screens from Metroplan and sold these over a number of years and the feedback has always been very positive. You might not have yet purchased your projector, remember we offer deals for projectors and screens so don't miss the opportunity to save some money, but an important consideration is getting the aspect ratio that fits your needs, here is the info about this product 04:03 is not widescreen but is suitable for the older resolution projectors XGA (1024 x 768 ) or SVGA (800 x 600 ) - if you want to be multi format then don't pull the screen so far down . There are many uses for these screens but here are a few Home/Office - Medium Audience. The screen type is fixed screen, not a mobile location so it stays in one place, one of the best sellers. It's important when you choose a screen that it fits in the spot you have decided to put it in so the viewable area which is the bit you project onto is 180x135cms and therefore that will require some extra space as the canister is longer, why not check out the pdf on the left hand side of the page for more info. Often people find it best to think of the screen as a diagonal size and this screen is 89 inches. Contact us for more info or ask for a better price, we can always do something to help and maybe point you in the right direction for something that may be more suitable and save you some money in the process.

About Small Audience
Just Projectors supply the full range of Projector Screens for small audiences. The first consideration when choosing a projection screen is whether you need to buy a mobile screen or buy a projector screen that is going to stay in one location. Mobile projector screen use for a smaller audience would be either a tripod screen, a mobile floor or table top screen. Tripod screen are cheaper but a bit heavier to move around and don't look as professional. The most popular now are the Mobile floor or table top screens, as they are self contained , just open the cover , pull the screen up, if there is a is rod type put the rod in, if its a scissor type then nothign more to do, they are so quick - less than 60 seconds. When you have finished, unclip the screen from the rod at the black and let the projector screen material return into the case and off you go. Fixed projection screen then these are the choices: Manual; Electric; Electric Tab Tensioned; Non Retractable. Manual Projector screens can be wall or ceiling mounted. They are operated by simply pulling down a cord and when you are finished using the manual projection screen pull the cord again and the projector screen will return to it's canister. The advantages are that they are easy to use, low price and easy to install. The next choice up would be an electric screen, which can be operated either by a wall switch or by a remote control. They look very professional and can be programmed to come down when turning on your projector. In the past, Electric projector screens have been expensive but that has now changed. If you want a perfectly flat image then the tab tensioned electric screen offers the best solution. The projection material is pulled rigid and you achieve a perfect surface. Tab tensioned electric screens are high quality but the price reflects that. The final choice would be to have a fixed frame projection screen solution, not unlike a picture frame. The fixed frame projector screen is assembled and then remains on view. Now you have decided which type of projector screen is best for your needs then you have to take into consideration what size would be the most suitable. We can also provide specialised electric screens such acoustically transparent and double format. Really it comes down to the audience size that you have and the space available for both screen to be placed and the throw distance/throw ratio of your projector. For 1-50 people under 180cm wide is more than enough, the exception to this is the home cinema requirement. The audience size is of course quite small but you do really want to feel like you are at the cinema, so if you have the space on the wall and the throw distance for the projector then go up to 250cm. The aspect ratio of the projector screen is basically determined by the shape of the projected image. Typically laptops will either be producing a video format (4:3) or a widescreen format (16:9/16:10). Match the format to the screen aspect you buy. If you have both formats to be displayed then purchase a 4:3 projector screen as you can easily make the aspect change to a 16:9 projector screen by merely not bringing the screen down so far. You will notice that there are a lot of 1:1 screens, these are cheaper to produce and therefore cheaper to buy. The negative is that your image will end up with a white border at some point. Other things that make projector screens different are black borders which make the image appear clearer. Widescreen projection screens such as 16:9 format tend to have a large area of black at the top of the screen. Electric screens have optional remotes but we do supply some models that already include the infra red remote control. There are options to have RF remote controls for our electric screens. Some electric screens need electrical installation as they are hard wired, some come with a plug on the end.

A few important things, all sizes are for the viewing not the canister so check out our page for the whole dimension size and measure. Get the right size for the room and audience. 2m is great for under 50 people. Short Throw projectors must use fixed flat surface screens. The bigger the drop down screen is, the more important it is tensioned to avoid creases. Matt white screens are standard and suit 98% of all needs.
