Just Projectors review on the Panasonic PT-EW730ZE: The Panasonic PT-EW730ZE is for presentations in a brightly lit room to a large audience. It is an installation projector. It comes with a standard lens with a wide throw ratio so it gives you great flexibility in where you mount the projector. The keystone correction will help with the installation because if you cannot place the projector in the centre of the screen and you are slightly off-set, this feature will allow you to still project in the middle of the screen. Give us a call if you would like us to install this projector for you as we can offer this throughout the UK. With 7,000 lumens of brightness this will be able to project clearly in a very bright room without any problems. It has a high contrast ratio adding depth to your images or videos. The widescreen resolution will be suitable for most things from basic data to movies and will give you a clear, sharp image throughout the day. It comes with the modern HDMI connection which allows you to connect to pretty much any source through this one input. It also features a 10W integrated speaker for added audio, obviously if you have a large audience you probably will have to add additional speakers. You can choose to show multiple pictures side by side or picture in picture for more effective presentations. DICOM Simulation Mode is included which is vital for medical training and X-Rays. The dust-resistant cabinet extends the life of the Eco filter by up to 15,000 hours. Check out the PDF for more information or give us a call for more information.

What Panasonic say about the PT-EW730ZE
Inorganic LCD Materials Maintain High Brightness and Image Quality Longer The optical block of the PT-EZ770 Series projectors maintains a high level of performance over time, due to the use of inorganic materials in the LCD panels and polarizers, thus achieving a replacement cycle of 10,000 hours with high brightness and excellent picture quality. It also makes them the logical choice for a truly dependable LCD projector system. Flexible Installation and System Integration DIGITAL LINK Translits Digital Signals up to 100m (328ft) with a single cable. Equipped with a DIGITAL LINK terminal, the PT-EZ770 Series allows transmission of HDMI, uncompressed HD digital video, audio and control signals (Ethernet, RS-232C) for up to 100 meters (328 feet) through a single CAT5e (STP) cable or higher. This simplifies cabling and system upgrades, making it ideal for ceiling-mounted and other permanent installations. Optional ET-YFB100G Digital Interface Box for Easy Setup By combining the optional ET-YFB100G Digital Interface Box, with its HDMI and other input terminals, uncompressed HD digital video, audio and control signals can be transmitted up to 100 m (328 feet) over a single CAT5e (STP) cable or higher. It allows projector connection with only one cable, making it ideal for ceiling-mounted and other permanent installations. Also, because control signals can be simultaneously transmitted, the ET-YFB100G input signal can easily be switched with the wireless remote control that is included with the projector. The projector can be controlled by either serial or LAN communication.
Flexible Installation The wide adjustment range of the powered horizontal/vertical lens shift function assures convenience and versatility during installation. It lets you easily make adjustments with the remote control. The unit can also be rotated 360 degrees vertically. This means you can install it at any angle you want, to accommodate different installation conditions.
A Wide Selection of Optional Lenses Choose from a wide lineup of optional lenses for your system, including short-throw, long-throw zoom and fixed-throw lenses for rear projection use. The additional lenses make it easy to adapt your projector to the installation site. The lenses attach and detach with one-touch ease. Easy Remote Monitoring and Control over a LAN Web browser on a computer connected through a wired LAN system lets you remotely operate projectors and check their status. An e-mail messaging function can also notify you when a lamp needs replacement, and indicate the overall projector status. In addition, Multi Projector Monitoring and Control Software is available for monitoring and controlling multiple Panasonic projectors from a single PC. The wired LAN terminal is compatible with PJLink™ (class1), an open protocol that is used by many manufacturers, to enable integrated control of systems that contain different brands of projectors. Crestron Connected and AMX Device Discovery The LAN terminal allows a computer connected to the network to use Crestron Connected™ application software to manage and control system devices. Besides, the AMX Device Discovery technology is built in the PT-EZ770 Series. Mechanical Lens Shutter The mechanical lens shutter completely blocks annoying light leakage when the projector is on standby or temporarily not in use, such as during a meeting. Corner Keystone Correction Enables Angled Projection All you need to do is designate four points as the corners of the projected image, and this function easily carries out horizontal and vertical keystone correction.
Lens-Centered Design A lens-centered, symmetrical design provides ease of installation, eliminating the need for any special considerations when planning the installation site.
Built-in 10-W Speaker The PT-EZ770 Series projectors feature a high-output 10-watt monaural speaker that produces a large sound volume without requiring external speakers. Side-by-Side and P-in-P Function* for Effective Presentations and Lectures Two different image sources can be simultaneously displayed onto a single screen. You can also switch to P-in-P (Picture-in-Picture) mode and display a sub-window onto the main screen. The sub-window can be positioned anywhere on the screen for more flexible and effective image presentations.
Eco Management Functions A number of functions are provided to reduce power consumption. They adjust the brightness according to ambient light conditions, and reduce the lamp power when there is no signal input. You can easily set the Eco Management functions according to operating conditions by using the ECO button on the remote control. Easy Lamp and Air Filter Replacement For easy maintenance, you can replace the filter from the side and the lamp from the top of the projector. The filter and lamp are easily replaced even after the projector is installed on the ceiling.

Buying a conference room sized projector is a large investment so it is important to find the best projector to suit your specific requirements. Here is a quick guide to getting the best conference room projector.
Firstly you hare a large audience so depending on how they are seated really depends on the brightness of the projector you are going to need. For instance if there are 200 people in 5 rows of 40 or 200 people in 20 rows of 10, clearly under the second example the people at the back of 20 rows are going to find it harder to see the image if the screen is too small. So you have to decide on your image size. Here are some sensible image sizes for certain audiences
3m - up to 100 people 4m - up to 200 People 5m - up to 300 people
Now you know your image size then you have to consider how far back you need to place the projector. A general rule of thumb on a standard lens projector is working on the basis of twice the distance back of the image width, so for the examples above the conference room projector would be placed 6m/8m/10m. If you need to be either further back or closer then you would probably have to buy what is known as a body only projector and then choose the additional lens which would give you the right throw ratio. This is a more expensive option as the additional lenses tend to be anything from £600-£2000. So it does make sense to try and have a set up for your conference that gives you the most cost effective solution. We really do suggest that buying on-line without having purchased a high end projector before might be better to ring one of our sales experts who will be able to save you money.
Depending on what you are intending to display and the quality you require does mean that there are several choices of resolution. If you are showing a basic Powerpoint presentation or spreadsheets then the choice would be either XGA or the wider version of XGA known as WXGA. If you are showing video content or HD content then 1080p which are full HD is popular as the quality is very good but they do tend not to have high lumens basically limited to 4000L so it may well be that it makes sense to go to the next resolution WUXGA which have more lumens.
Brightness which is measured as lumens is more important for a conference room projector than a standard projector because they will need to be bright. Nothing less than 4000L will do but again this is a specialised requirement and you should ask for help.We have found that the "5 Series" of Infocus offer probably the best value and other good conference room projector brands are Panasonic & NEC as they both have a large range to choose from. If you want the WUXGA resolution then Canon are the best choice but they a bit pricey for most budgets. At the bottom of each page there is a more detailed guide about what to look for on a projector.
We provide advice on the phone listening to your requirements we are able to help you get the right one as we have trained staff . We have a network of installers to cover your area. On higher end models we can arrange a loan or demo. We think most people should buy HD resolution , they are so affordable now and you wouldn't buy a 5 year old laptop so why buy SVGA which is over 20 years old. Yes XGA & WXGA are ideal for simple presentations and education use but we have all been use to decent home TV's or high resolution phones or tables so why put a huge image on the wall/screen which is inferior. There are some great brands out there BenQ, Infocus, Epson and less known ones like EIKI or Vivitek. Yes you can buy the wrong one, this is why we still offer advice rather than just an add to cart website. We have a price promise, we see the models, we often put one against another and see which one is best. We only buy UK stock, which has higher warranty standards to ensure you get real value for money. We don't sell the cheap brands as the lumens isn't verified. Look at our name it tells you that we are committed to this product and we have a great reputation in the market place for price and customer service. We supply the UK but also in Ireland, we offer a 1-3 day service to Ireland.
