Just Projectors review on the P1350W

WXGA resolution can be used for most things such as presentations, images and videos/movies. It will give you a clear and sharp image all day. Also, with widescreen you get 30% more viewing area than the standard XGA resolution; most modern devices are widescreen so you will match the aspect ratio.

The high contrast ratio will give your presentation more depth and will really show off the darker areas. It has a wide throw ratio so you have quite a bit of flexibility when mounting the unit. The long lamp life will sure keep you going with 15,000 hours! There is the modern HDMI connection so you will be able to connect to most sources and show your content in high definition. There are two HDMI ports so you can connect to multiple HD sources at the same time without swapping your cables around. There is also the older VGA connection. There is also a 10W built in speaker which will be suitable for a medium audience. With the P1350W having 3700 lumens, you will not have to clos the blinds whilst using the projector, you will be able to present with them open and even with the lights on.

The long lamp life will keep you from buying a replacement lamp anytime soon with its 15,000 hours. The keystone correction is a great feature becuase if you cannot install the projector directly centre of the screen, this feature will help you to still project in the middle.

Overall, this is a great little projector that has the basics you will need. Check out the PDF to the left for more information.

What Acer say about the P1350W

  • Crisp text and clear graphics in WXGA (1,280x800) resolution
  • 3,700 ANSI lumens for bright, clear images
  • Acer LumiSense content-aware technology & Bluelight Shield
  • Dual HDMI connectivities for HD quality content
  • Environment-friendly 15,000 hrs lamp life

See images clearly from a distance with 3,700 lumens of brightness. Even in bright rooms, your presentations will shine as brilliantly as your ideas.

The contrast ratio is up to a whopping 20,000:1. DynamicBlack™ improves image contrast by analyzing onscreen content frame-by-frame and then dynamically adjusting lamp power to optimize black levels. The black can be extremely black and white is brilliant white.

Acer ColorBoost3D presents true-to-life colors through an optimized 6-segment color-wheel design, advanced lamp illumination technology, and powerful TI image processing. It can reduce brightness decay and color shift while displaying 2D and 3D content through enhancing color brightness, while also compensating color saturation and color temperature.

ColorSafe II technology combines the dynamic RGB control techniques, and advanced projector lamps to extend projector lifespan. The technology prevents yellow hues, the sign of color decay, so even after thousands of hours of usage, projector continues to deliver consistent, natural colors.

LumiSense incorporates a clever content-aware process. It analyzes projected content frame by frame and dynamically adjusts image visibility to optimum levels. Thanks to LumiSense intelligent judgment and dynamic adjustment, all dark scenes are clearly displayed with no loss of detail.

Acer Bluelight shield allows users to lower levels of blue light to lessen the negative effects of blue light exposure. There are three levels of filter which suitable for different scenario. Each level also contains dynamic mechanism that optimizes the blue light level based on content color. Bluelight shield can reduces blue light up to 30%.

Image distortion sometimes happens when the projector is placed with improper distance or in a wrong position. Finding the right angle for your presentation will come easier with keystone correction which corrects vertical distortions.

Break free from the clutter of wires with easy wireless projection options. With Acer Wireless Projection*, you can connect your device and projector in wireless signal, use your device to view content in a multitude of ways, such as quad view or through mirroring content.

EcoProjection is an earth-friendly solution that saves consumption power and lamp replacement costs. With ExtremeECO feature, projector will automatically enters Eco mode when no input signal is received, and after a certain time, performs a safety shutdown. The power consumption can be reduced and it enables lamp power control and dims lamp down. The lamp life will be extended also.

About Office
Confused about Office Projectors? Here is the quick Office Projectors Essential Buyers Guide explaining what projector would be the most suitable for your office presentation. Get the right resolution: if you are using a Mac then you are better off going for WXGA which is a 16:10 resolution, or 1080p which is a 16:9 resolution to match you Mac's settings. If you have a new PC/laptop then SVGA will be too low a resolution to produce a decent picture, so go for at least XGA resolution. If you want higher quality then buy 1080p HD or WUXGA resolution, the sort of resolutions you would expect to use if you were a web designer. SVGA resolution would be okay for a training room projector if you were just showing a simple PowerPoint presentation, but this is quite an outdated resolution. For showing videos, or any high resolution content then go for either 16:10 or 16:9 resolutions. Getting the right brightness (measured as lumens): your audience size determines what brightness the projector needs to be. For fewer than 20 people an image size of up to 1.6m wide would be plenty, and would require a 2500-3000 lumen projector. If the audience size was 20-50 people then a 1.8m wide screen is ideal and the brightness 2700-3200 Lumens. For 50-100 people then go for a 2m wide image and 3000-3500 lumens. If your audience is larger than 100 people then it would be best for you to give us a call on 01256 882629 to discuss.

ABOUT JUST PROJECTORS

We provide advice on the phone listening to your requirements we are able to help you get the right one as we have trained staff . We have a network of installers to cover your area. On higher end models we can arrange a loan or demo. We think most people should buy HD resolution , they are so affordable now and you wouldn't buy a 5 year old laptop so why buy SVGA which is over 20 years old. Yes XGA & WXGA are ideal for simple presentations and education use but we have all been use to decent home TV's or high resolution phones or tables so why put a huge image on the wall/screen which is inferior. There are some great brands out there BenQ, Infocus, Epson and less known ones like EIKI or Vivitek. Yes you can buy the wrong one, this is why we still offer advice rather than just an add to cart website. We have a price promise, we see the models, we often put one against another and see which one is best. We only buy UK stock, which has higher warranty standards to ensure you get real value for money. We don't sell the cheap brands as the lumens isn't verified.  Look at our name it tells you that we are committed to this product and we have a great reputation in the market place for price and customer service.  We supply the UK but also in Ireland, we offer a 1-3 day service to Ireland.
